So I found this really good article that discusses the winners and losers of 2023 passport ranking in terms of mobility score. Here is the list:
WINNERS:
1. CHINA: +9
2. ALBANIA: +7
3. INDONESIA: +6
4. SAUDI ARABIA: +6
5. VATICAN CITY: +6
6. GEORGIA: +5
7. ISRAEL: +5
8. MONACO: +5
9. TURKEY: +5
10. MACAO: +5
LOSERS:
1. SUDAN: -2
2. CUBA: -2
3. ECUADOR: -1
4. UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: -1
5. TUNISIA: -1
A few thoughts... I am sure this list will update substantially with Israel being on the Losers list next year due to the war since many countries have already started boycotting the entry of citizens of Israel.
I highly doubt that someone with a UAE passport really mind that minus 1 country. They should be plenty happy with their mobility score.
On the other hand you would think that a passport from Sudan and Cuba were already bad enough. I guess there is always a way to be worse for them.
